Vietnam’s 5 priorities in the year of ASEAN Chairmanship

Firstly, promote ASEAN’s role and positive contribution to maintaining a peaceful, secure and stable environment in the region on the basis of strengthening ASEAN solidarity and unity and promoting the spirit of attachment.

Second, promote regional links and connections, improve the ability to adapt and take advantage of opportunities of the 4.0 industrial revolution, accordingly, deepen economic links and comprehensive connections within the bloc.

Third, promote the sense of community and ASEAN identity, create common ASEAN values ​​and widely disseminate them to the people, promote awareness and identification of the ASEAN Community united in diversity, and enhance

Fourth, promote partnerships for peace and sustainable development with countries around the world, promote ASEAN’s role and contributions to the international community, expand and enhance relationships with partners.
